Prerequisite

The minimum patch set level must be OFS DGUSRR Application Pack v8.1.2.0.0.

Installing this Release

To install the release, follow these steps:

1.        Log in to My Oracle Support, and search for 34112224 under the Patches & Updates Tab.

2.       Download the 34112224_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your OFSAA Server in Binary Mode.

3.       Shut down all the OFSAAI Services.

For more information, see the • Stop the Infrastructure Services Section in the OFS AAI Installation and Configuration Guide Release 8.1.2.0.0.

4.      Extract the contents of the patch archive file using the command:

Unzip <name of the file to be extracted>

For example: unzip 34112224_GENERIC.zip

5.       Assign RWX (755) permissions to the folder by executing the command:

·       chmod -R 755 OFS_DGS

·       chmod -R 755 appsLibConfig

6.      In the Installer Kit Path /appsLibConfig/conf:

a.       Update the params.conf file with the Upload Model Parameter as 0.

7.       Navigate to the following directory:

<>/OFS_DGS/bin

8.      Execute the install command:

./setup.sh SILENT

9.      Verify the patch installation logs in the following directory:

<>/OFS_DGS/logs

10.   Verify the patch installation logs in the following directory:

<>/OFS_DGS/logs

11.     After successful installation, follow these steps:

a.       Clear the Application Cache. Navigate to the following directories depending on the configured Web Application Server and delete the following files:

                                                                         i.            Tomcat: <Tomcat installation location>/work/Catalina/localhost/<Application Name>/org/apache/jsp

                                                                       ii.            WebLogic: <WebLogic installation location>/domains/<Domain name>/servers/<Server name>/tmp/_WL_user/<Application name>/<auto generated folder>/jsp_servlet

12.    Delete the existing EAR or WAR file present in the $FIC_HOME/ficweb directory.

13.    Generate the application EAR or WAR file and redeploy the application on your configured Web Application Server.

14.    Restart the OFSAAI services. For more information, see the Starting Infrastructure Services section in the OFS AAI Installation and Configuration Guide Release 8.1.2.0.0.

Post-Installation Steps

The post-installation steps required for this one-off release are as follows:

1.        Perform the Regulatory Reporting Deployment steps. For more information, see the Regulatory Reporting Deployment Steps section in the Oracle Financial Services Data Governance for North America Regulatory Reporting Pack Installation Guide 8.1.2.0.0.

2.       Execute the MERGE_FCT_KRI_DEF batch.

For more details, see the Merging Key Indicators Section in the Oracle Financial Services Data Governance for North America Regulatory Reporting Pack Installation Guide 8.1.2.0.0.

3.       Execute the FCT_KRI_DEF_UPDATE batch.

For more details, see the Updating Measures for Key Indicators Section in the Oracle Financial Services Data Governance for North America Regulatory Reporting Pack Installation Guide 8.1.2.0.0.

4.      Execute the DGS_KI_MDRM_UPDATE batch.

This batch is used to convert work cells to normal cells. Enter the current system date as the MISDATE for this batch.

5.       Execute the KI_CONFIGURATION batch.

For more details, see the Key Indicator Configuration Section in the Oracle Financial Services Data Governance for North America Regulatory Reporting Pack Installation Guide 8.1.2.0.0.

6.      To update the FCT_CREDIT_LINE table data, run the following command on the Atomic schema before executing the account mapper batch.

update FCT_CREDIT_LINE set N_DATA_SOURCE_CD=0;

commit;

7.       Assessment based on Report and Legal Entity flag is enabled in Key Indicator Assessment. The flag ASSMT_BASED_ON_REPORT_AND_LE must be marked as Y when Assessment has to happen based on Report and Legal Entity combination.

If the ASSMT_BASED_ON_REPORT_AND_LE flag marked as N then Assessment will happen for all Legal Entities.

If the ASSMT_BASED_ON_REPORT_AND_LE flag is marked as Y, then ensure that the Report and Legal Entity mapping is defined in the FSI_M_REPORT_LE_MAP Mapping Table.

NOTE: Ensure that Multiple Legal Entities are not mapped to single Report.
