Purpose: Use the Reason Codes screen to work with reason codes used by store associates or managers in Store Connect to cancel or reject orders.
Used for the Store Connect module.

How to display this screen: Select Reason Codes from the Home Screen or from the Systems Menu.
Note: Only users with Reason Codes authority can display this screen. See the Role Wizard for more information.

1. Optionally, select a different organization from the Organization drop-down box. See Data Hierarchy for more information on how locations are assigned to organizations. Note: You must complete the Preferences screen for an organization before you can select it. 2. Optionally, enter a new Code and Description. If you do not enter them here, you can enter them at the New Reason Code window. 3. Click NEW to advance to the New Reason Code window. |

The organization associated with your Default Shipping System is selected by default, and the first 50 reason codes in that organization are displayed. Use any combination of the fields at the top of the screen and click SEARCH to restrict the search results to matching reason codes: • Optionally, select a different organization from the Organization drop-down box to restrict your results to that organization. Note: You can select a blank organization to remove this field from your selection criteria. • Optionally, enter a full or partial reason code in the Code field to restrict your results to reason codes that start with your entry. • Optionally, enter a full or partial reason code name in the Description field to restrict your results to reason codes whose names contain your entry. • Optionally, select a setting of Yes or No from the Active field to restrict your results to reason codes matching the selected status. • Click SEARCH. |

Organization |

Code |
The code identifying a reason to reject or cancel an order through Store Connect. Your entry can be up to 30 positions. Required to create a new reason code, although you can complete your entry at the New Reason Code window. Enter a full or partial code and click SEARCH to display reason codes whose codes start with your entry. |
Description |
The description of the reason code. Your entry can be up to 35 positions. Required to create a new reason code. Enter a full or partial description and click SEARCH to display reason codes whose descriptions contain your entry. |
Active |
Indicates whether the reason code is available for selection in Store Connect when an associate or manager is canceling or rejecting an order. Select Yes or No and click SEARCH to display reason codes that match your selection. |
