Setting Up Shells
A shell is where users can organize business information in one place to make managing it easy. You can use a shell to organize the information about projects, or facilities, in one place. A shell includes functions and features that are necessary for managing the information about projects, or facilities, within that shell. A shell is not required to function like a project.
Note: When your Site Administrator publishes updates that affect organization-level single-instance shells, the shells default to using the Base Currency specified for your environment. This ensures that the cost data that rolls up to the top level is displayed in the correct currency.
