Use Import Options dialog box to create a new template or modify an existing template to exchange data between P6 Professional and P6 EPPM or other third-party applications. When importing from P6 EPPM to P6 Professional, you are required to use an import file and an import template. You can create or select and customize an import template in this dialog box.
Template Name: The name for the import template. This field is required and can contain up to 40 characters. You can type in this field to filter templates that match the type text.
