Activity Screen in OIPA
The Activity screen is located in the Oracle Insurance Policy Administration
(OIPA) system.
The Activity screen provides a list
of activities and their associated data. Filter options display activities based on their type and/or status.
Filter options can be displayed using the Filter icon. To view all the filter options, click the Filter
icon. Once, all the filter options are displayed, activities can be filtered on the Activities screen by selecting appropriate filter options. After selecting the filters, the user needs to click the Refresh button to apply the filters. Activities appear only if the filter options corresponding to them are selected. This screen also contains the processing options
that are available for processing activities. Activities
can be processed at the company, client, plan, or policy level.
Activities can be manually added on the screen by clicking the Add Activity icon. A window will open with an Activity drop-down box and an Activity Details section. Select the activity to process from the drop-down box and then enter the relevant activity details. Select the OK button to add the activity to the Activity screen. To process an activity, on the Activity screen, click the Process icon.
The EligibleTransactionsByPolicyStatus rule defines the activities that are applicable to the policy based on policy status. The Add Activity drop down list will present only those activities defined for that status.
The Activities screen displays activities added to the policy. The view of the activities can be modified by activity status and date filters.

Activities can occur at different levels in the OIPA system. Company, client, plan, and policy level activities are supported.
Company Level Activity
To access company level activities, navigate to Admin Menu > Misc > Company Activity. The Company Activity screen appears. Select the required company and plan, then the corresponding activities appear.

Client Level Activity
To access client level activities, follow these steps:

Open a client record, the Client screen appears.

In the Left Navigation list, click Activities. The Activity screen appears. In order for an activity to be added, it must first be configured in the Rules Palette as a transaction. Ensure that you have sufficient security to access Activities in the Left Navigation list.

Plan Level Activity
To access plan level activities, navigate to Admin Menu > Plan > Plan Activity. The Plan Activity screen appears. Select the required company and plan, then the corresponding activities appear.

Policy Level Activities
To access policy level activities, follow these steps:
