Assigning Permissions to the P6Reports Catalog Folder

To read, run, schedule, and view reports, you must assign the BIConsumer role access to the objects in the P6Reports catalog.

To assign permissions to the P6Reports catalog:

  1. Log in to Oracle Analytics Publisher as an administrative user.
  2. Select Catalog.
  3. Under Shared Folders, select the P6Reports folder.
  4. In the Tasks pane, click Permissions.
  5. In the Permissions window:
    1. For the BI Consumer account:
      • In the Permissions list, select Custom, then in the Custom Permissions window, clear all options except Read, Traverse, Run Publisher Report, Schedule Publisher Report, and View Publisher Output.
    2. For the BI Content Author account:
      • In the Permissions list, select Full Control.
    3. For the BI Service Administrators account;
      • In the Permissions list, select Full Control.
      • Select the Owner option.
    4. Select Apply permissions to sub-folders.
    5. Select Apply permissions to items within folder.
    6. Click OK to save.
