About Custom Groups
Custom groups can be created if your organization is provisioned with:
- a multi-product platform (MPP) environment with CIC Advisor and CIC Analytics or
- CIC Analytics only
Being provisioned with the CIC application suite gives your organization greater flexibility to create custom groups of users with specific permissions based on their needs for accessing any of the CIC applications.
Create a custom group if you want to grant users access to both analytics and advisor applications or if you have created custom roles and want to grant those to users in analytics-only environment.
