Merging Repository Definition (.rpd) Files

Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) has the ability to merge two Repository Definition (.rpd) files together to form one file. This method is an alternative to creating a differences XML file, verifying the changes, then merging the changes together.

Note: Do not complete these steps if you plan to update the definition (.rpd) file by creating and applying an XML Difference file. See STARETL Process Calculations for P6 EPPM Data for details.
