Integrating Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis (PPM Databases Only)
Prerequisites:
- Install Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis version 8.7.0079 or later.
- Install P6 Professional version 18.8 or later.
- Install P6 Integration API and use the database configuration wizard to connect to your P6 Professional database.
Note: Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis requires a 32-bit JRE.
- Start Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis and select Primavera, Connection Wizard from the File menu.
- In the Primavera P6 Connection Wizard:
- Select P6 Professional and click Next.
- In the Java JRE location field, select the location of the 32-bit JRE.
- Complete the rest of the wizard.
- Open Registry Editor.
- In Registry Editor:
- Navigate to the following path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE
- Add a new key and give it the name
Primavera.
- Add a new key inside Primavera and give it the name
P6 Professional
. - Add a new key inside P6 Professional and give it the name
IAPI
. - In the IAIP folder add a new String Value key.
- In the Name field for the new key, type
APIJARS
. - In the Data field for the new key, enter the location of the P6 Integration API installation.
- Save the changes and close Registry Editor.
- Navigate to the following path:
- Run dbconfig.cmd as an administrator.
- In Database Configuration:
- Select Create a new configuration and enter the name
INTERNAL_PLUGINS
. - Complete the rest of the wizard.
- Select Create a new configuration and enter the name
