These fields are used to flatten data for General Ledger Reporting:

Field or Control

Description

Use Flatten Tree Data

Click this link to access the Tree Flattener Options page where you can select these options:

General Ledger Reporting: Select to populate flattened tree data in a format that is usable by General Ledger Reporting. This check box must be selected if you are using General Ledger Reporting feature.

Detail List: Select so that GL batch processes use the flattened tree data to improve performance.

Maintain Chartfield EDR Data

Select this check box to indicate that ChartField effective date range data is to be maintained by Online ChartField components. This option is required if the Use Flatten Tree Data option is selected.
