Daimler Truck AG are one of the world's largest commercial vehicle manufacturers with over 35 main locations worldwide and approximately 100,000 employees.

Daimler moved Siebel CRM to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) following divestiture from Mercedes-Benz, achieving more autonomy, agility, and at lower cost. They migrated their Siebel SFM and Reporting solution to OCI and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).

Prior to moving to OCI, the Siebel CRM environment was based on the IP16 release and hosted on-premises in the Netherlands. After the move to the cloud, huge performance improvement was observed. The Siebel CRM Release Update process is also easier, allowing them to be more agile.
