To support this is 'Accellerate', a sophisticated planning tool based on Siebel CRM and OBIEE, used extensively by the sales, marketing, finance and supply functions. Its primary function is to enable the sales team to inform the business on forecast sales and costs.
The system is mission-critical at Reckitt, integrating with both JD Edwards and SAP. The intelligent system provides forward-looking P&L, P&L reporting updates in 10 minutes, automated promotional approval (paperless). There is also an intuitive OpenUI interface with dashboards and intuitive features to improve productivity when working with plans and promotions.
