Voltas improves Siebel performance and lowers infrastructure costs

Voltas, a Tata Group company and India’s leading room air conditioner brand, was facing rising data center costs, performance challenges, and infrastructure limitations that constrained the modernization of its Siebel CRM system. The company provides a broad portfolio of cooling products, including air conditioners, air coolers, commercial refrigeration systems, water coolers, and water dispensers, and is also a leading engineering solutions provider, serving industries such as HVAC, refrigeration, water management, mining, construction, and textiles.

Voltas evaluated several cloud options for its next phase of growth. After assessing the alternatives, the company selected Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) based on its performance, cost advantages, and operational automation capabilities. By migrating its Siebel environment to OCI, Voltas gained improved application performance, increased resilience, and lower infrastructure costs while establishing a modern platform to support ongoing business and customer service requirements.
