Migrating Service Region to Oracle Field Service
To migrate the Service Region from Siebel to Oracle Field Service, Administrator first needs to setup the Service Region as well as Schedule, Exception, Employees and Zip code under it and create Schedule in Oracle Field Service with the same Siebel Schedule name. Once ready, Service Region can be migrated to Oracle Field Service through click of Transfer to OFS Button on Service Region List view. Engine field on Service Region will be updated to OFS. On successful migration, along with Engine we also update Transfer Complete flag to "Y" and sync Success Description field to "Success". In case of any Error, Engine is set as "OFS" but Error is updated to "Sync Success Description" field and the Transfer complete is set to "N".
ZIP codes are mapped to Service Regions in Siebel CRM. Any new ZIP code associated with a Service Region, which has Engine as OFS will get synced against the Service Region (Bucket) in Oracle Field Service. Any deletion of ZIP Codes associated with a Service Region, which has Engine as OFS will get deleted from the corresponding service region (Bucket) in Oracle Field Service.
