Preparing for the Upgrade

Preparation of customer database and upgrade servers for Siebel setup

• Prepare a DB server having customer a customer database from the old version of Siebel.

• Identify a server box to install Siebel.

• Download the installation package on to the server box.

• Download the ancestor repository corresponding to customer version of Siebel.
