About DIV-Based Embedded Interviews for Siebel Public Sector Self Service
This chapter describes DIV-based embedded interviews for Oracle Intelligent Advisor within Siebel CRM applications. DIV-based embedded interviews provide a simpler integration framework than prior functionality to support Intelligent Advisor interviews for Siebel CRM applications users. Support for DIV-based embedded interviews is new as of Siebel CRM 22.4 Update.

Use Case for Embedded Interviews (Siebel Public Sector Self Service)
An example of a use case for embedded interviews in Siebel Public Sector Self Service is where a member of the public wants to assess their eligibility for certain benefits (Screen for Services scenario) and then, if qualified, decides to apply for those benefits (Apply for Benefits scenario). Configurable Siebel CRM workflow processes and sample seed data are provided that support the interview sessions for these two interrelated scenarios.

Screen for Services scenario. In this scenario (also called the Screen for Eligibility scenario), the user logs in to a government site and starts an interview session to determine their eligibility for benefits.

Apply for Benefits scenario. Depending on the results of the interview session in the first scenario, which are saved and returned to the user based on their input, this same user might subsequently start another interview session to perform the process of applying for benefits.
