Configuring Business Service Access for Embedded Interviews

To implement embedded interviews for Siebel Public Sector Self Service or other applications, you must configure business service access.

To configure business service access

  1. Navigate to Administration - Application, then Business Service Access.

  2. In the Business Service Access list, create a new record with values like the following:

    Name. Specify the name of this business service access. Enter OPA Interview Framework Service.

  3. Under Access By Responsibility, in the Responsibilities list, create a new record with values like the following:

    • Create a record for the Siebel Administrator, with the following values:

      • Responsibility. Specify the name of this responsibility. Enter Siebel Administrator.

      • Description. Enter Siebel Administrator.

      • Organization. Enter Default Organization.

      • Web Access. Enter Yes.

    • Create a record for the Web Anonymous User, with the following values:

      • Responsibility. Specify the name of this responsibility. Enter Web Anonymous User.

      • Description. Enter Web Anonymous User.

      • Organization. Enter Default Organization.

      • Web Access. Enter Yes.

    • Create a record for the Web Registered User, with the following values:

      • Responsibility. Specify the name of this responsibility. Enter Web Registered User.

      • Description. Enter Web Registered User.

      • Organization. Enter Default Organization.

      • Web Access. Enter Yes.

  4. Under Business Service Method, for each of these responsibilities, create records for the following methods:

    • Load.

    • Save.

    • GetCheckpoint.

    • GetCheckpoint.

    • CheckAlive.

  5. After adding business service access, click Clear Cache.
