Configuring Manifest Data for Embedded Interviews

To implement embedded interviews for Siebel Public Sector Self Service or other applications, you must configure manifest data.

Note: The manifest entries below are examples for the sample use case scenarios for Siebel Public Sector Self Service and for the Siebel Mobile application for Siebel Financial Services. Create as many records and child records as you require for your applications and use cases, using whatever fields you require.

To configure manifest data

  1. Navigate to Administration - Application, then Manifest Files.

  2. In the Files list, create a new record with values like the following:

    Inactive Flag. Enter N.

    Name. Specify the name of this manifest file, which in this case is the physical renderer for Intelligent Advisor embedded interviews in Siebel CRM. Enter siebel/opaprenderer.js.

  3. Navigate to Administration - Application, then Manifest Administration.

  4. For Siebel Public Sector Self Service, in the UI Objects list, create a new manifest record with values like the following:

    • Create a record for PUB OPA Interview Applet, with the following values:

      • Inactive Flag. Leave unchecked.

      • Type. Enter Applet.

      • Usage Type. Enter Physical Renderer.

      • Name. Specify the name of this manifest entry. Enter PUB OPA Interview Applet.

    • Create a record for PUB OPA Interview Screening Applet, with the same values as above, but with the Name set to PUB OPA Interview Screening Applet.

  5. For the Siebel Mobile application for Siebel Financial Services, in the UI Objects list, create a new manifest record with values like the following:

    • Create a record for FINS Account OPA Interview Applet, with the following values:

      • Inactive Flag. Leave unchecked.

      • Type. Enter Applet.

      • Usage Type. Enter Physical Renderer.

      • Name. Specify the name of this manifest entry. Enter FINS Account OPA Interview Applet.

    • Create a record for FINS Contact OIA Interview Applet, with the same values as above, but with the Name set to FINS Contact OIA Interview Applet.

    • Create a record for FINS OPA Application Capture Applet DIV Based, with the same values as above, but with the Name set to FINS OPA Application Capture Applet DIV Based.

  6. For each of the records that you created in Step 4 or Step 5, create the following records:

    • In the Object Expression list, create a new record with the following values:

      • Inactive Flag. Enter N.

      • Level. Enter 1.

    • In the Files list, create a new record with the following values:

      • Inactive Flag. Enter N.

      • Name. Enter siebel/opaprenderer.js.
