Desktop Integration Siebel Agent Framework

The Desktop Integration Siebel Agent (DISA) is a generic framework that is based on the WebSocket protocol. This document assumes you are using DISA with the current release of Siebel CRM (such as Siebel CRM 20.11 Update or later).

The DISA framework consists of two key components:

  • WebSocket Client. Implemented in the Siebel Open UI application in the browser.

  • WebSocket Server. Installed on the agent workstation. It is the interface between Siebel Open UI and workstation native access.
