Upgrading DISA

DISA installer will auto detect an existing installation, but it will no longer prompt you to upgrade. The user must manually select the existing installation path from the Installation Directory drop down to proceed with upgrade.

In Upgrade mode, DISA installer picks up install settings from the previous DISA installation. User input is not required in upgrade mode.

Tip: Exit DISA before upgrading to avoid restarting the computer during or after the upgrade process.

After the upgrade process is complete, the configuration file, key store file, and custom plugins from the old DISA installation are retained.

Note: To ensure compatibility with Siebel Monthly Update 25.6 running on Java 21, you should perform a fresh installation of DISA 25.6.​ You cannot directly update from pre-25.6 DISA to 25.6 DISA due to JKS changes. A fresh installation is required as a one-time effort, after which you can apply Monthly Updates as normal.​
