Completing Product Analysis and Creating Corrective and Preventive Actions
At the conclusion of the product analysis, the product team member adds information about the root cause of the problem and initiates corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
This task is a step in Process of Product Analysis Following a Product Issue.
To add root cause and corrective actions to a product analysis record
Navigate to Repairs screen, then the Repair List view.
In the Repair list, drill down on a product analysis record and complete the Root Cause field.
Add corrective actions to the record as follows:
Click the Corrective Actions tab.
In the Corrective Actions list, add an existing or create a new corrective action as required.

If the corrective action already exists, then add an existing corrective action and select a corrective action from the Add Corrective Actions window.

If the corrective action is new, then create a new corrective action and complete the fields in the new CAPA record.
