About Siebel Open Integration

Siebel OpenIntegration enables organizations to expose Siebel CRM processes as REST APIs, supporting both standard and customized applets, views, business services, and workflows. This allows full “headless” operation, making it easier to build custom user interfaces, integrate with external systems, and support IoT-driven event flows.

Open Integration preserves existing customizations during API creation, eliminating the need to rewrite UI-level processes as business services or workflows, reducing technical debt and development effort. It also provides metadata access for use with alternate UI frameworks and delivers high performance and scalability consistent with Siebel CRM’s existing REST APIs.

This approach supports advanced integration, including AI-powered solutions, for both data access and process automation in Siebel CRM deployments.

Note:
  • Minimum Siebel Version for Open Integration:

    Siebel Open Integration requires Siebel version 25.6 or higher for both the Application Interface (AI) and Siebel Enterprise Server.

  • Minimum Siebel Version for using Open Integration's Cache Configuration:

    To use the Cache configuration feature in Siebel Open Integration, you must have Siebel version 25.10 or later. For versions earlier than 25.10, ensure that the cache enabled flag is set to false.
