3.19.144 70373 - Connection Alarm Aggregation Threshold Reached
- Alarm Group:
- vSTP
- Description:
- This alarm is generated when the number of Connection failure alarms for a single vSTP-MP is equal to or greater than a configured aggregation threshold (Association Major Agg Alarm Threshold and Association Critical Agg Alarm Threshold). Meeting the Major threshold raises a Major aggregate alarm. Meeting the Critical threshold clears the Major aggregate alarm, if active, and raises a Critical aggregate alarm. To review or change aggregation thresholds, go to VSTP > Configuration > Alarm Aggregator Options.
- Severity:
- Major or critical, determined by the configured threshold reached.
- Instance:
- <vSTP-MP-Hostname>
- Clear behavior:
- OAL clears the aggregate alarm when the failed Connection count falls to or below 80% of the configured Major threshold. With the default Major threshold of 100, the default abatement level is 80.
- Throttle Seconds:
- 10
