Description:

This alarm is generated when the number of Link failure alarms for a single vSTP-MP is equal to or greater than a configured aggregation threshold. Meeting the Major threshold raises a Major aggregate alarm. Meeting the Critical threshold clears the Major aggregate alarm, if active, and raises a Critical aggregate alarm. To review or change aggregation thresholds, go to VSTP > Configuration > Alarm Aggregator Options, and modify Link Major Agg Alarm Threshold and Link Critical Agg Alarm Threshold.

Severity:

Major or critical, determined by the configured threshold reached.

Clear behavior:

When the failed Link count falls to or below 80% of the configured Major threshold. With the default Major threshold of 100, the default abatement level is 80.
