5.1.63 Network Entity PC

Using Network Entity PC, a user can configure Network entity. All configuration of Network Entity PC is done at the SOAM.

Navigate to the VSTP, Configuration, and Network Entity PC page. This page shows the fields for the Network Entity PC, including options to view and insert entries.

Table 5-62 Network Entity PC Fields

Fields Description Range
Network Entity ID Numeric identifier for the Network Entity. Range: It can be any string consisting of 0-9 and up to length 15. It must be unique. A value is mandatory.
Service Type Type of service provided. Range: Value(s): SP
Subsystem Number Subsystem number for the service. This information is used to update the CdPA of incoming messages requiring this service. Range: 2-255 (Optional)
Domain Domain of point code.

Note:

This parameter must be mentioned before Point Code in JSON for MMI.
Range: None, ANSI, ITUI, ITUN, ITUN24, ITUI_S, ITUN_S. [Mandatory Field].
Routing Indicator Routing indicator for the service. This information is used to update the CdPA of incoming messages requiring this service. Range: Value(s) = GT, SSN

Default: GT
Translation Type Translation type for the service. This information is used to update the CdPA of incoming messages requiring this service. This field cannot be specified when CCGT: 1 (Optional)

Range: 0-255
Nature of Address Indicator Nature of address indicator for the service. This information is used to update the CdPA of incoming messages requiring this service. This field cannot be specified when CCGT: 1 (Optional)

Range: 0-127
Numbering Plan Numbering plan for the service. This information is used to update the CdPA of incoming messages requiring this service. This field cannot be specified when CCGT: 1. Optional

Range: 0-15
Cancelled Called GTI Cancel Called Global Title. Range: 0-1

Default: 0
Digit Action Action to perform on the CdPA Global Title Address of the outgoing message.

This field is ignored when CCGT: 1

Value(s): Insert, Prefix, DelCc,DelCcPrefix, Replace, Spare1,Spare2
Point Code Point code value for the service. This information is used to update the CdPA of incoming messages required for this service. Range = [1-11 characters separated by hyphen (-)]. [Mandatory field] [A value is required.]

Adding a Network Entity PC

Perform the following steps to configure Network Entity PC:

  1. Click Insert.
  2. Enter the applicable values.
  3. Click OK, Apply, or Cancel.

Editing Network Entity PC

Perform this procedure to change the field values for the selected Network Entity PC.

  1. Select the Network Entity PC row to be edited.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Enter the updated values.
  4. Click OK, Apply, or Cancel.

    Note:

    The Network Entity PC field cannot be changed.

Deleting Network Entity PC

Perform the following procedure to delete Network Entity PC:

  1. Select the Network Entity PC to be deleted.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Click OK or Cancel.
