What's New for Oracle Public Cloud Machine
New features are released on Oracle Public Cloud Machine on a regular intervals. To take advantage of these, the Oracle Public Cloud Machine must be patched with the latest version. If you require a new feature sooner than your regular patching schedule, please discuss with your Oracle Cloud Administration team. Below is an overview of new Cloud services, features and enhancements added recently to improve your Oracle Public Cloud Machine experience.

|Oracle Database Cloud Service||
Oracle Database 12c Release 2 (12.2) is now available for database deployments hosting a single-instance database and Oracle RAC database.
The January 2017 Patch Set Update (PSU) is now available to patch existing Database Cloud Service database deployments.For more information on these new features and other enhancements, see What’s New for Database Cloud Service.

|Oracle Compute Cloud Service||After your Oracle Public Cloud Machine is patched to the new release, you must upgrade Oracle Compute Cloud Service instances that you have created. |Oracle SOA Cloud Service||Oracle Cloud Public Machine release 16.3.1 now supports Oracle SOA Cloud Service.
Oracle SOA Cloud Service provides a PaaS computing platform for running Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Managed File Transfer Cloud Service, Oracle Service Bus and Integration Analytics on the cloud machine. For more information on SOA Cloud Service, see the following links:
|Oracle Database Cloud Service||One of the major enhancements added as part of this release is support for Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) database.
