set-origin-server-pool-prop

Syntax

tadm set-origin-server-pool-prop common_options --config=config_name --origin-server-pool=origin_server_pool_name (property_name=property_value)+

Description

Use this command to set the origin-server pool properties.

Options

For information about common_options, run the help command.

--config|-c

Specify the name of the configuration for which you want to set the origin-server pool properties.

--origin-server-pool|-o

Specify the name of the origin-server pool for which you want to set the properties.

Operands

property-name=property-value

Specify name=value pairs for one or more properties that you want to define. The name=value pairs should be separated by spaces.

You can set the following origin-server pool properties:

family: Specifies the socket family that is used to connect to the origin-server.
Values: inet, inet6, and inet-sdp. The values inet and inet6 represent IPV4 and IPV6 protocols respectively. The inet-sdp value is used for Sockets Direct Protocol (SDP). Default: inet.

load-distribution: The load-balancing method that should be used for distributing requests to the origin-server pool.
Values: least-connection-count, least response time and round-robin. Default: least-connection-count

To reset a property to its default value, do not provide a property value.
For example, property-name=<empty_string>

tadm set-origin-server-pool-prop --user=admin --host=admin.example.com --password-file=./admin.passwd --port=8989 
--no-prompt --config=www.example.org 
--origin-server-pool=test-pool family=inet 
load-distribution=round-robin

Exit Codes

The following exit values are returned:

0: command executed successfully

>0: error in executing the command
