Use this command to set the request limit properties for a virtual-server.
For information about common_options
, run the help command.
--config|-c
Specify the name of the configuration to set the request-limit properties.
--vs|-s
Specify the name of the virtual server.
--request-limit|-l
Specify the name for request limit properties.
property-name=property-value
Specify name=value
pairs for one or more properties that you want to define. The name=value
pairs should be separated by spaces.
You can set the following request-limit properties:
max-rps
: Specifies the maximum number of requests that the virtual server can receive per second.
Values: 0 to 999999999.
max-connections
: Specifies the maximum number of concurrent matching connections.
Values: 0 to 999999999.
continue-condition
: Determines the condition for a blocked request type to become available again.
Values: silence
and threshold
. Default: threshold
.
error-code
: Specifies the HTTP status code to return for blocked requests.
Values: Default value: 503
monitor-attribute
: Specifies a request attribute to monitor.
Values: Any valid string. For example, jpeg: $ip.
rps-compute-interval
: Specifies the time interval (in seconds) in which the average RPS (request per second) is computed.
Values: Default value: 30
To reset a property to its default value, do not provide a property value.
For example, property-name=<empty_string>
tadm set-request-limit-prop --user=admin --host=admin.example.com --password-file=./admin.passwd --port=8989 --no-prompt --config=www.example.org --vs=soa.example.org --request-limit=rule-request-limit-1 max-rps=2999 max-connections=333999
