set-ssl-session-cache-prop

Syntax

tadm set-ssl-session-cache-prop common_options --config=config_name (property_name=property_value)+

Description

Use this command to set the SSL session cache properties.

Options

For information about common_options, run the help command.

--config|-c

Specify the name of the configuration to set the SSL session cache properties.

Operands

property-name=property-value

Specify name=value pairs for one or more properties that you want to define. The name=value pairs should be separated by spaces.

You can set the following SSL session cache properties:

enabled: Specifies whether the server writes SSL/TLS sessions to the cache.
Values: true, false. Default: true.

max-entries: Specifies the maximum number of SSL/TLS sessions that are written to the cache by the server.
Values: 1 to 524288.

max-ssl3-tls-session-age: Specifies the maximum amount of time (in seconds) a SSL/TLS session is written to the cache.
Values: 5 to 86400.

To reset a property to its default value, do not provide a property value.
For example, property-name=<empty_string>

tadm set-ssl-session-cache-prop --user=admin 
--password-file=./admin.passwd --host=admin.example.com 
--port=8989 --no-prompt --config=www.example.org max-entries=12876 max-ssl3-tls-session-age=789

Exit Codes

The following exit values are returned:

0: command executed successfully

>0: error in executing the command
