Steps to enable SSO with a SAML compliant identity provider

As an administrator, you can enable single sign-on for your Oracle Eloqua users. Single sign-on allows users to login to Oracle Eloqua with their identity provider login credentials.

Enabling single sign-on requires you configure SAML 2.0 between Oracle Eloqua and the identity provider. Completing all of these steps might involve multiple teams at your organization. You will need access to the identity provider, administrative access to Oracle Eloqua, and potentially other IT resources.

The following table shows the steps required to configure single sign-on with a SAML compliant identity provider.

Step Description

Create the identity provider

Create the identity provider in Oracle Eloqua by uploading the identity provider's metadata or by setting up the identity provider manually.

See Creating an identity provider in Oracle Eloqua.

Configure Oracle Eloqua as a service provider

Gather the information you need from Oracle Eloqua and then set up Oracle Eloqua as a service provider in your identity provider's system.

See Configuring Oracle Eloqua as a service provider.

Test the setup

Set up a test user in Oracle Eloqua and test single sign-on access to Oracle Eloqua.

See Testing single sign-on.
