This chapter describes the process integration for product lifecycle management.
The process integration for product lifecycle management lets you synchronize products, discounts, and chargeshares (pricing components) from Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) to Siebel CRM. You synchronization pricing components in real time or in batches.
You create and update pricing components in either Pricing Design Center or Pricing Center, which are product design components of BRM. When you commit the pricing components to the database, the process integration for product lifecycle management synchronizes them to Siebel CRM for enrichment.
This process integration includes the following business flows:
Synchronize Product and Price
Query Product Classes
The Synchronize Product and Price business flow lets you create new pricing components in BRM and synchronize them to Siebel CRM. It also lets you update pricing components in BRM and resynchronize them to Siebel CRM.
This business flow is enabled by the following pre-built integration options:
Order to Cash for BRM
Order to Cash for Siebel CRM

The Query Product Classes business flow lets you create new product classes in Siebel CRM and query them from Oracle Communications Design Studio to create conceptual model Product entities. The query process includes product classes, associated attributes and valuesets. The business flow also lets you update product classes in Siebel CRM and query the updates from Design Studio to update the conceptual model Product entities.
This business flow is enabled using the following pre-built integration options:
Order to Cash for Siebel CRM
Order to Cash for Oracle Communications Order and Service Management (OSM)
