Helm Parameters

This section provides the information on NSSF Helm configurable parameters.

NrfDiscovery

When enabled, NSSF will send discovery request for each initial register message to get the Candidate AMF List corresponding to target AMF set selected.
  • Acceptable values: True/False
  • Default Value: False
  • Properties:
    • Disclimit: When the NrfDiscovery parameter is enabled, this parameter signifies the maximum number of Candidateprofiles as discovery response.
    • Range (2,20)
    • Default 5
  • Precondition: This will be applicable only when the CandidateResolution parameter is enabled.

Relevance

When enabled, NSSF will apply relevance algorithm to select/sort Candidate AMFs as a response to Initial register or UE-Config-Update requests which are part of selected Target AMF set.
  • Acceptable values: True/False
  • Default Value: False
  • Preconditions:
    • This will be applicable only when the CandidateResolution parameter is enabled.
    • AMF must Update its capabilities to NssaiAvailability as per 29.531.

CandidateResolution

When enabled, NSSF will respond with Candidate AMF List in case when Initial Register message or UE-Config-Update message comes on NS-Selection service. When disabled NSSF will respond with Target AMF set and NRF.
  • Acceptable values: True/False
  • Default Value: False
  • Properties:
    • Maxcandidates: When the CandidateResolution parameter is enabled, this parameter signifies the maximum number of AMFs in Candidate AMF list returned to AMF by NSSF.
    • Range (2,20)
    • Default 5
