Listing Commitments

View your continuous consumption discount (CCD) commitments using the Console, CLI, or API. Use the Console filters to find commitments that match your criteria, and then review their status, quantities, pricing, and effective dates. Reviewing these details helps you track your obligations and verify that they match the terms you accepted.

    1. Open the navigation menu  and select Billing & Cost Management. Under Cost Management, select Continuous Consumption Discounts.

The Continuous Consumption Discounts page opens and displays two sections:

      • A summary of outstanding commitments, including key data points such as the total value of all commitments, the remaining value of those commitments, and the number of commitments. This summary helps you to understand the overall value represented by your commitments.
      • A listing of your commitments in a table, from any CCD type.

Use the filters to show only the commitments you're interested in.

From the Search and Filter box above the list table, select one or more filters and specify the values that you want to use to narrow the list. In general, the filters correspond to the columns shown in the list table, although some filters represent attributes that aren't shown in the table. The Compartment filter is always displayed next to Applied filters.

Change the order of the items in the list table by using the sort icons next to the column names.

For information about searching for resources and managing the columns in the list table, see Listing Resources.

    2. Select a commitment and open the Details tab to review its accepted terms and status.

Commitment status can be Current, Scheduled, Ended, or Canceled.

Verify the subscription, products or meters, component quantities, pricing, billing basis, effective start, end condition, and contract reference where applicable. Retain the commitment identifier for reconciliation.

Note that a record can exist before its pricing or billing becomes active. For lifecycle details, see The CCD Offer and Commitment Lifecycle. When a Commitment Begins, and When a Commitment Ends.

For a contract-defined commitment, compare its terms with the signed order rather than creating another commitment. Contact Oracle if the record is missing or incorrect.

    3. Select the Tags tab to add, change, or delete tags on a commitment.

To create a commitment, select Create commitment and follow the instructions in Creating a Commitment.

For billing review, see Reviewing and Reconciling CCD Charges.

  • Use the oci ccd-offers ccd-commitments ccd-commitment-collection list-ccd-commitments command and required parameters to list existing CCD commitments:

    cli_ccd-offers-ccd-commitments-ccd-commitment-collection-list-ccd-commitments --compartment-id --subscription-id [OPTIONS]

For a complete list of parameters and variable options for CLI commands, see the Command Line Reference.

  • The Continuous Consumption Discounts API provides access to commitment records, subject to the same applicable IAM authority as the Console. See Required IAM Policy to View and Accept Offers.

Use ListCcdCommitment to list existing CCD commitments.

Use GetCcdCommitment to review an identified commitment and verify its accepted terms and effective timestamps.
