Getting Detailed Log Content for a Job

Download detailed log content (a .log file) for a job in Resource Manager.

Prerequisites

Review prerequisites for getting detailed log content.

To get detailed log content for a job, detailed log content must exist. For instructions on generating detailed log content for a job, see Debugging a Job (Generating Detailed Log Content).

1. Open the navigation menu and click Developer Services. Under Resource Manager, click Jobs.
2. Choose a compartment that you have permission to work in (on the left side of the page).
3. Click the name of the job that you want.
  The Job details page opens.
4. In the Job information tab, to the right of Detailed log level, click Download detailed log file.
Use the oci resource-manager job get-detailed-log-content command and required parameters to get detailed log content for a job.
