Configuring the Private Cloud Appliance System
When the Private Cloud Appliance rack hardware has been installed, and the system has been powered on, the initial setup and configuration procedure must be performed.
Ensure that the Initial System Installation Checklist has been completed in advance. It contains the information required to configure the system.
Before you connect to the Private Cloud Appliance for the first time, ensure that you have made the necessary preparations for external network connections. See Preparing the Data Center Network Environment.

When the initial setup and configuration of your Private Cloud Appliance is complete, you can begin to customize the appliance for use.
Ensure that the compute nodes are provisioned before you hand off a newly created tenancy to the tenancy administrator. Unprovisioned compute nodes can cause VCN creation to fail. Ensure that platform images have been imported.
