@Generated(value="OracleSDKGenerator", comments="API Version: 20230501") public final class NetworkFirewall extends com.oracle.bmc.http.client.internal.ExplicitlySetBmcModel
A network firewall is a security resource that exists in a subnet of your choice and controls
incoming and outgoing network traffic based on a set of security rules. Each firewall is
associated with a policy. Traffic is routed to and from the firewall from resources such as
internet gateways and dynamic routing gateways (DRGs). For more information, see Overview of
Network Firewall
Note: Objects should always be created or deserialized using the NetworkFirewall.Builder
. This model
distinguishes fields that are null
because they are unset from fields that are explicitly
set to null
. This is done in the setter methods of the NetworkFirewall.Builder
, which maintain a
set of all explicitly set fields called NetworkFirewall.Builder.__explicitlySet__
. The hashCode()
and equals(Object)
methods are implemented to take the explicitly set
fields into account. The constructor, on the other hand, does not take the explicitly set fields
into account (since the constructor cannot distinguish explicit null
from unset null
).

public static NetworkFirewall.Builder builder()
Create a new builder.
public NetworkFirewall.Builder toBuilder()
public String getCompartmentId()
The OCID of the compartment containing the Network Firewall.
public String getDisplayName()
A user-friendly name for the Network Firewall. Does not have to be unique, and it’s changeable. Avoid entering confidential information.
public String getSubnetId()
The OCID of the subnet associated with the Network Firewall.
public String getIpv4Address()
IPv4 address for the Network Firewall.
public String getIpv6Address()
IPv6 address for the Network Firewall.
public String getNetworkFirewallPolicyId()
The OCID of the Network Firewall Policy.
public String getAvailabilityDomain()
Availability Domain where Network Firewall instance is created. To get a list of availability
domains for a tenancy, use the listAvailabilityDomains
operation.
Example: kIdk:PHX-AD-1
public List<String> getNetworkSecurityGroupIds()
An array of network security groups OCID associated with the Network Firewall.
public Date getTimeCreated()
The time at which the Network Firewall was created in the format defined by
RFC3339. Example: 2016-08-25T21:10:29.600Z
public Date getTimeUpdated()
The time at which the Network Firewall was updated in the format defined by
RFC3339. Example: 2016-08-25T21:10:29.600Z
public LifecycleState getLifecycleState()
The current state of the Network Firewall.
public String getLifecycleDetails()
A message describing the current state in more detail. For example, it can be used to provide actionable information for a resource in ‘FAILED’ state.
public Map<String,String> getFreeformTags()
Free-form tags for this resource. Each tag is a simple key-value pair with no predefined
name, type, or namespace. For more information, see Resource
Tags. Example:
{"Department": "Finance"}
public Map<String,Map<String,Object>> getDefinedTags()
Defined tags for this resource. Each key is predefined and scoped to a namespace. For more
information, see Resource
Tags. Example:
{"Operations": {"CostCenter": "42"}}
public Map<String,Map<String,Object>> getSystemTags()
Usage of system tag keys. These predefined keys are scoped to namespaces. Example: {"orcl-cloud": {"free-tier-retained": "true"}}
