oracle.oci.oci_blockstorage_volume_backup_actions – Perform actions on a VolumeBackup resource in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure¶
Note
This plugin is part of the oracle.oci collection (version 5.2.0).
You might already have this collection installed if you are using the ansible
package.
It is not included in ansible-core
.
To check whether it is installed, run ansible-galaxy collection list
.
To install it, use: ansible-galaxy collection install oracle.oci
.
To use it in a playbook, specify: oracle.oci.oci_blockstorage_volume_backup_actions
.

Synopsis¶
Perform actions on a VolumeBackup resource in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
For action=change_compartment, moves a volume backup into a different compartment within the same tenancy. For information about moving resources between compartments, see Moving Resources to a Different Compartment.
For action=copy, creates a volume backup copy in specified region. For general information about volume backups, see Overview of Block Volume Service Backups
Requirements¶
The below requirements are needed on the host that executes this module.
