Note
This plugin is part of the oracle.oci collection (version 5.2.0).
You might already have this collection installed if you are using the ansible
package.
It is not included in ansible-core
.
To check whether it is installed, run ansible-galaxy collection list

Synopsis¶
Perform actions on a DbSystem resource in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
For action=change_compartment, moves the DB system and its dependent resources to the specified compartment. For more information about moving DB systems, see Moving Database Resources to a Different Compartment.
For action=migrate_exadata_db_system_resource_model, migrates the Exadata DB system to the new Exadata resource model. All related resources will be migrated.
For action=upgrade, upgrades the operating system and grid infrastructure of the DB system.

**Subnet Restrictions:** - For bare metal DB systems and for single node virtual machine DB systems, do not use a subnet that overlaps with 192.168.16.16/28. - For Exadata and virtual machine 2-node RAC DB systems, do not use a subnet that overlaps with 192.168.128.0/20.
These subnets are used by the Oracle Clusterware private interconnect on the database instance. Specifying an overlapping subnet will cause the private interconnect to malfunction. This restriction applies to both the client subnet and backup subnet.
