Back Up the mapViewerConfig.xml File

The mapViewerConfig.xml file is overwritten by the reconfiguration templates when you run the Reconfiguration Wizard. Therefore, you must back up the mapViewerConfig.xml file before reconfiguring your existing domain.

  1. Change directory to the location of the mapViewerConfig.xml file.
    cd EXISTING_DOMAIN_HOME/config/fmwconfig/mapviewer/conf
  2. Copy the mapViewerConfig.xml file.
    cp EXISTING_DOMAIN_HOME/config/fmwconfig/mapviewer/conf/mapViewerConfig.xml EXISTING_DOMAIN_HOME/config/fmwconfig/mapviewer/conf/mapViewerConfig_orig.xml
    A copy of the mapViewerConfig.xml file is created with the filename ‘mapViewerConfig_orig.xml’.
