Upgrade Catalog

Migrate the Catalog customizations from Oracle BI Applications 11.1.1.10.3 to Oracle BI Applications 11.1.1.10.3 PS4.

1. Import the catalog from the Oracle BI Applications 11.1.1.10.4 baseline bar into the upgraded environment using the importarchive command. The Oracle BI Applications 11.1.1.10.4 baseline BAR file is available in NEW_ORACLE_HOME/bi/biapps/admin/provisioning/OracleBIPresentationServicesComponent/OracleBIApps.bar.
   1. Navigate to <DOMAIN_HOME>/bitools/bin.
   2. Run the command:
      ./importarchive.sh <Service_instance> <Oracle BI Applications 11.1.1.10.4 baseline BAR> encryptionpassword=<password> nodatamodel noauthorization

      For example, ./importarchive.sh biainstance OracleBIApps.bar encryptionpassword=Admin123 nodatamodel noauthorization

2. Migrate the Catalog customizations from Oracle BI Applications 11.1.1.10.3 to Oracle BI Applications 11.1.1.10.3 PS4.
   1. Log in to the Analytics page of the upgraded environment.
   2. Navigate to Catalog and select Shared Folders.
   3. Unarchive the Oracle BI Applications 11.1.1.10.3 custom content you backed up during the pre-upgrade stage.
      Click Unarchive, select the archive file, set Replace to All and ACL to Preserve, and then click OK.
3. On the Analytics page, navigate to the Catalog and verify that the custom content is available.
