Analyze Secondary and Reporting Currency Ledgers in Journal Processing Dashboard

This enhancement extends the Journal Processing Dashboard to secondary ledgers and reporting currency ledgers so users can monitor journal import activity, pending lines, and errors for the selected ledger. The dashboard tracks journals import process for secondary ledger.

The enhancement requires Oracle Enterprise Command Center Framework Release 12.2 V12. It helps finance teams track journal processing status across ledger representations used for reporting, reconciliation, and compliance.

Steps to enable and configure

  1. Confirm Oracle Enterprise Command Center Framework Release 12.2 V12 or later.
  2. Validate secondary ledger and reporting currency ledger setup and security.
  3. Grant journal processing users access to the ledgers they need to monitor.
  4. Run or refresh the Journal Processing data load for the ledgers in scope.
  5. Validate error, ready-for-import, and interface line views for secondary and reporting currency ledgers.

Tips and considerations

  • Use the ledger filter before reviewing interface line status so users are investigating the correct ledger.
  • Secondary ledger journal import exceptions may need ownership rules different from primary ledger exceptions.
  • Pair dashboard monitoring with established Journal Import correction procedures.
