Set Requestor Notifications In Requisition Import
The Requisition Import process can now send requester notifications for requisitions created from Oracle and non-Oracle environments. To enable notifications for imported requisitions, set the Notify Requester flag to Yes before running the import process. After the import process creates the requisitions, requesters automatically receive notifications for requisition approvals and purchase order status updates. The Notify Requester Flag column is now available in the PO_REQUISITIONS_INTERFACE table.
Compared with the prior requisition and shopping capability, this enhancement adds the capability directly to the Oracle iProcurement flow in Release 12.2.14. This enhancement improves approval visibility, cleaner notification handling, and fewer manual status checks across purchasing stakeholders.
Steps to enable and configure
- Populate the requisition data in the PO_REQUISITIONS_INTERFACE table.
- Set the Notify Requester flag to Yes before running the Requisition Import process.
- Run the Requisition Import process and verify requester notifications for requisition approvals and purchase order status updates.
