Creating Shortcuts

To create a shortcut:
  1. From the Explore Repository, right-click a file object, and then select Create Shortcut.
  2. Enter General Properties:
    • Name: The name assigned to the shortcut.

    • Description: The description of the shortcut. Limit the length to 250 characters.

    • Folder: Path to the folder to which the shortcut is pointing

      Either type in a path, or click Browse, select a path in the Select dialog box, and click OK.

  3. Enter Advanced Properties:
    • Auto-delete item on this date: Enable to automatically delete this artifact from the repository.

    • Automatically generate keywords: Generates search keywords based on words contained in the Name and Description. The search function uses these keywords to find an artifact.

    • Keywords: Keywords used to search for an artifact.

  4. Click OK to save the shortcut.
