Adding Oracle Universal Content Management URLs

You can add URLs with two types of Oracle Universal Content Management protocols: http:// or idc://. The protocol that you select determines how the URLs are added:

Note:

The protocol http:// requires that you define the properties HTTPProxyHost and HTTPProxyPort in JConsole. The protocol idc:// does not require properties setup.

  • http://—URLs can be pasted into the Document URL field. The Logon dialog box is displayed where you enter the Oracle Universal Content Management User ID and Password.

  • idc://—The Oracle Universal Content Management host name, idc port number, and document ID are typed into the Document URL field. The syntax: idc://<hostname>:<port number>.<document ID>. For example: idc://vacorda08.us.oracle.com:4444.DM0000213
