Entering Percent Consolidations
By default, parents consolidate their child entities 100 percent. You can optionally specify a consolidation percentage. The consolidation percentage determines what percent of a child entity consolidates to the parent entity. The consolidation percentage is stored in a system-defined account named PCON. You can enter consolidation percentages manually in a data grid or load the information through the data load process. See Loading Data.
You can enter consolidation percentages using these grid settings:
-
Row Dimension = Entity
-
Column Dimension = Period
You enter consolidation percentages using this point of view and entering data at the parent entity cell.
