Journal Status
The journal status indicates the current state of the journal. The status of a journal changes when you create, submit, approve, reject, or post the journal.
Table 11-1 Journal Statuses

Working |
Journal is created. It has been saved, but it can be incomplete. For example, it might need to have a label or single entity assigned. |
Submitted |
Journal is submitted for approval. |
Approved |
Journal is approved for posting. |
Rejected |
Journal is rejected or unposted. |
Posted |
Journal adjustments are posted to the database. |
The journal actions that are available depend on the journal status. For example, if the journal has a status of Approved, the only actions available are Reject or Post.
