Scanning Journals

After you enter journal data, you can scan the journal to verify that all entries are valid. The scan process enables you to identify errors and make any necessary changes before you post the journal.

When you run a scan, if the journal contains errors, a separate window displays the scan results by row number. If all of the entries are valid, no message is displayed.

To scan journals:

1. Create or open a journal.
2. Click Scan.
