Resolving OHS Installation Issues

In case of OHS Installation failure, perform the following steps:

Step Details
Verify OHS Installation Check if Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) is fully installed under MIDDLEWARE_HOME/ohs. You can compare the number of folders with a working environment to verify if the installation is complete.
Check TMP Space

OHS Installation may fail if:

  1. There is insufficient memory in TMP directory.
  2. The noexec flag is enabled on TMP mount.

Note:

Ensure that there is adequate space in TMP and to remove the noexec setting before installation.
Reinstall OHS using EPM Installer If the existing OHS folder appears corrupted, rename the folder (for example, MIDDLEWARE_HOME/ohs_test) before reinstalling OHS.
