Management Ledger Balance Dimension

Figure 8-3 shows the outline of the Balance dimension in the Oracle Essbase console.

The Balance dimension stores funding flows.

Users can add data to the Input member of Net Balance. The remainder of the members reflect inputs and outputs determined by rule sets and rules. Adjustments are the result of driver calculations, allocations are the result of rule allocations, and offsets result from rule offset definitions. See Working with Management Ledger Allocations, for information about rule sets, rules, and their definitions.
