Controlling Smart View Cell Formatting in Planning Forms

Administrators can set the SMART_VIEW_MERGE_FORMATTING property to control whether cell formatting that administrators set in Oracle Smart View for Office merges with the cell formatting that non-administrators set in Smart View.

To use the SMART_VIEW_MERGE_FORMATTING property, add it using the instructions in Setting Application and System Properties and set its value:

• If set to true, in a Oracle Hyperion Planning form, the cell formatting that a non-administrator saved in Smart View is merged with the formatting that an administrator saved.

• If set to false (the default), in a Planning form, the cell formatting that a non-administrator saved in Smart View persists, even if an administrator changes the formatting of those cells.
